Who we are
This website is operated by Eon IT (“we”, “us”, “our”), Castle House, Castle Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 3UW, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your data, contact us at info@eongulf.com or call +44 20 8050 3482.
The short version
- We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind.
- We only collect personal data that you choose to send us: through our contact form, our careers form, or by email or phone.
- We use it only to respond to you, and we never sell it.
What we collect and why
1. When you contact us
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, the topic you select and your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss and provide our services.
Legal basis: our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
2. When you apply for a job
If you use our careers form, we collect your name, email address, the role you are interested in, the link you provide to your CV or LinkedIn profile, and your message. We use this to assess your application and contact you about it.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract of employment, and our legitimate interests in recruiting the right people.
3. When you visit the website
Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. These server logs are used only to keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable website.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. Our fonts and images are hosted on our own website, so visiting a page does not send your data to third parties such as Google. Because we use no non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie banner.
Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website, acting on our instructions:
- Formspree, Inc.: processes and delivers the messages you send through our contact and careers forms, and filters spam.
- Our website hosting provider: hosts the website and keeps the technical server logs described above.
- Our email provider: stores the emails we receive and send.
We may also disclose personal data if required by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Formspree, are based in or store data in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates in it.
How long we keep data
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep records as needed for the contract and our legal obligations.
- Job applications: up to 6 months after the recruitment process ends, unless you join us or agree that we can keep your details for future roles.
- Server logs: a short period, normally no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
How we protect your data
As a cyber security company, we take protecting data seriously. This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, uses strict security policies that block third-party scripts and trackers, and collects only the minimum data needed. Access to personal data within Eon IT is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased in certain circumstances
- Restrict or object to our use of your data, including where we rely on legitimate interests
- Data portability, in certain circumstances
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email info@eongulf.com. There is normally no charge, and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Our website links to other sites, such as our LinkedIn, X and Facebook pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please read their privacy policies when you visit them.
